This individual will actively engage vendors, negotiate pricing, and establish a reliable supplier network to support operations.This role is execution-focused, with an opportunity to grow into a more strategic leadership position as processes and systems are developed.Duties/ ResponsibilitiesProcurement ExecutionManage daily purchasing needs including sourcing, quoting, and order placementCommunicate directly with vendors to secure competitive pricing and timelinesTrack and manage all purchase orders through completionVendor DevelopmentBuild and maintain a preferred vendor list with documented rationaleNegotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to improve cost efficiencyEvaluate vendor performance and make adjustments as neededProcess & Operational SupportImprove purchasing workflows and consistency across the organizationSupport cost control through price comparisons and spend awarenessCollaborate with operations and finance to ensure alignment on purchasing needsQualificationsEducation & Experience4–6+ years of purchasing or procurement experienceExperience in equipment, fleet, or operational purchasing preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation skills with a hands-on approach to vendor interactionAbility to build processes while managing day-to-day executionHigh level of ownership, urgency, and accountabilityStrong organizational and follow-through skillsExperience with purchasing systems and reporting tools preferredJoin a team that values safety, reliability, and professional development.
