Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including braiding, styling, hair extensions, and hair coloring using color theory principles to achieve desired looks. Execute precise barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves and classic haircuts while maintaining high sanitation standards. Apply eyelash extensions and makeup to enhance clients’ features with attention to detail and safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by consulting with clients about their desired styles, offering product recommendations, and upselling retail items effectively. Manage appointment scheduling using salon software like MINDBODY or similar platforms to ensure smooth daily operations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, stations, and work areas in compliance with health regulations. Assist with front desk duties including client check-in/out, retail sales, and supporting store management tasks as needed. Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, nail care, retail math, and overall salon best practices. Skills common knowledge of most hair styling techniques. Skilled in barbering, braiding, and or styling techniques including straight razor shaves and traditional cuts (if a barber) Experience with eyelash extensions application and makeup artistry for complete beauty transformations. Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations. Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
