Your oversight through all phases of construction will make partners want to work with you again and produce impressive financial results. The Superintendent's primary purpose is to provide on-site administrative and technical management of field related activities on construction projects.\nPrincipal Duties and Accountabilities:\nProvide technical assistance, interpret drawings, and recommend construction methods and equipment.\nBuild relationships with the project team (both in house and with outside partners), providing leadership and guidance.\nResponsible for project profitability through field performance and site expenditures\nAssess any risk factors, making sure you meet safety, schedule and quality expectations.\nComplete some paperwork, though much of that is completed digitally with our internal document workflows.\nEducation:\nBachelor’s Degree in Construction Science Management, Architectural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Equivalent combination of mechanical field and leadership experience will be considered.\nExperience:\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction industry.\nPrior experience in role assisting with project management or field leadership preferred.\nKnowledge, skills, and abilities:\nAbility to maximize performance of project team through innovative and effective management techniques.\nSuperior communication and interpersonal skills, such as diplomacy, persuasion, etc. are essential to develop and foster effective professional relationships.\nTime management and organizational skills.\nBasic level of financial acumen necessary to manage project budget/performance.\nKnowledge of the following computer programs: MS Word, Excel. Experience with project management software a plus.\nStrong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.\nAbility to navigate a construction site.\nPhysical and/or travel demands:\nAbility to travel to all job sites for Innovations across multiple states.\nBenefits and compensation:\nThe range for this position has been established at $56.80 - $73.20 and is US Engineering Innovations good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.\nYour total compensation will go beyond the number on your pay check. Team members are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance as well as paid time off.
