The role focuses on packaged and major mechanical equipment, ensuring technically sound, cost-effective, and code-compliant solutions aligned with project objectives and client requirements.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nDevelop mechanical design criteria and engineering deliverables for mineral processing systems.\nPrepare equipment specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, and conduct technical bid evaluations.\nReview vendor documentation for mineral processing equipment and resolve technical deviations.\nSupport cost optimization and value engineering during project execution.\nTrack key mechanical material quantities and support project controls.\nProvide independent technical solutions to complex mineral processing equipment issues.\nTypical Equipment Experience\nBasic Job Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed institution.\n5-15 years of experience in engineering / consulting organization supporting mining and/or metals projects.\nStrong experience in packaged equipment engineering, procurement support, and vendor coordination\n\nTypical equipment experience:\n\nMining / Mineral Processing Equipment\nGrinding and regrind mills\nCyclones and flotation cells\nThickeners, slurry systems, and slurry/solution pumps\nPressure filters and dewatering equipment\nLime slaking and flocculant system\n\nMetals Processing Equipment (Steel & Aluminum)\n\nContinuous casting machines and auxiliaries\nCasting machines and material handling systems\nMelting, holding, and metal treatment furnaces\nAlumina refinery mechanical equipment\nBalance of plant (BOP) equipment for steel plants\nOther Job Requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nTo be Considered Candidates:\nMust be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
