Our mission is to continually improve and set new standards for excellence in construction, today and for the future.Position OverviewAvsar Construction is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to support facility condition assessments and on-site construction evaluations. This role is responsible for identifying, documenting, and assessing building systems across active sites, collaborating closely with technical teams, and contributing professional judgment regarding system condition and remaining service life.This is a field-based role requiring strong construction knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and collect building component data for installed systems at assigned sitesInput and manage data using digital tools such as tablets, laptops, and smartphonesApply construction expertise to identify building systems concealed within walls, ceilings, and floorsAssess overall condition and estimate remaining service life (RSL) of building components based on professional judgment and experienceCollaborate with other trade surveyors to collect quantities, measurements, and supporting technical informationConduct and support ad hoc site surveys as required by project needsProvide guidance, oversight, or informal supervision to staff and survey participants when neededRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction ManagementOR a minimum of 10 years of relevant construction experience (experience may substitute for formal education on a year‑for‑year basis)6+ years of full-time professional experience working with on-site construction management teams and site stakeholdersStrong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and facility assessmentsAbility to work independently in field environments and document findings accurately
