We think you’ll find what you want here because what we do matters - to us, our customers, and most of all, our team members.Location: Warrendale, PASummaryAs a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering security system installations that meet the customer’s requirements, code standards, and contractual obligations – on time and within budget.What You'll DoIdentifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the project. This includes managing budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones. Conducts meetings and prepares reports to communicate the status of the project. Provides project support for operations to assist in maintaining and/or improving project margins. Supports field technicians with technical support and design inquiries. Answers questions from customers as they arise. Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Regularly visit job sites to evaluate project progress, verify alignment with the scope of work, and ensure the project remains on schedule. Participates in customer/site coordination meetings as needed. Closes out projects upon completion. Ensures project scope was met based on customer requirements. If project scope was not met, research potential reasons and review with branch management. What You'll Need Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm, Card Access, Video Surveillance, networking and Burglar alarm systems.Used in all phases of implementation including support to operations and customer communications. 2-3 years project management experience - preferred. Professional skills necessary to effectively manage projects while maintaining Vector’s quality standards and successfully lead a team. NICET Level II - preferred. Validates proficiency and experience in security solutions. Advanced Communication/Interpersonal Skills:Incumbent must be able to communicate to customers, sales and operations staff. Will have to communicate effectively to individuals with less knowledge/understanding. Continuous Learning:This role requires a commitment to continuous learning, including staying current with industry changes and maintaining applicable certifications as required for the position.
