Epicor Eclipse Developer

Job Description This is a remote position. SENIOR ECLIPSE APPLICATIONS PROGRAMMER (Remote) A large, privately-held wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies is seeking a Senior Eclipse Applications Programmer to join the Eclipse Systems team at its National Support Center. The company operates in a decentralized environment where each location, called a Profit Center (PC), is run by a Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical PC includes a warehouse, counter, sales office, and sometimes a showroom, and operates under a unique trade name tailored to its local marketplace. Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications including reports to meet operational needs Identify, troubleshoot, and correct invalid data caused by system errors, user input, or programming issues to ensure data integrity and reliability Design, code, test, and deploy software applications based on business requirements Update and optimize existing programs to improve functionality and resolve issues Design and create reports using Report Writer tools Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine system requirements Track and resolve support issues, provide timely updates, and ensure proper prioritization Review, test, document, and deploy approved configuration changes, maintaining accurate tracking records Identify and correct data errors while investigating root causes Follow established procedures for software changes and releases Complete required safety and compliance training programs Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned Requirements Required Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience 7+ years of experience with Epicor Eclipse, using Solar and eTerm 7+ years of experience with Eclipse Basic or similar programming language Preferred Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail Ability to deliver outstanding customer service, including handling challenging issues professionally Experience working directly with software vendors for debugging, enhancements, and defect/enhancement tracking Ability to deliver timely resolution to change control, system updates, and break/fix issues Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and cross-functionally with other business units Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent documentation and organizational skills Full-time benefits (30+ hours/week): Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage Accident, hospital indemnity, and critical care coverage Life insurance and long-term disability Pre-tax accounts for healthcare, dependent care, and commuter benefits Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time Paid pregnancy and parental leave Paid day of community service Full-time and part-time benefits: 401(k) Retirement cash account with company contributions Profit-sharing program Targeted training programs Company wellness program Equal Opportunity Employer.
