The candidate will support gathering project requirements from the customer and implementing data-driven solutions.ResponsibilitiesUse Python scripting and AWS services to automate geospatial data ingestion, transformation, and analysisApply geospatial data science techniques to identify patterns, trends, and mission-relevant insightsCreate maps, visualizations, and analytic products for technical and non-technical audiencesMaintain high-quality, repeatable data workflows, ensuring data integrity, documentation, and performanceMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 1+ year of relevant experienceStrong experience using Python for geospatial data transformation, automation, and analysisStrong experience working with geospatial data in thick-client GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS)Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS, AWS services, and Linux-based environmentsU.S. citizenship and Active TS/SCI with required polygraphwillingness to work on-site full timePreferred QualificationsExperience working with Python notebooks (e.g., Jupyter) for exploratory and reproducible analysisExperience integrating and consuming data via REST APIsExperience with R, Tableau, or similar analytical and visualization toolsExperience with Apache NiFi or comparable data workflow/orchestration toolsFamiliarity with Git for versioning scripts and analytic artifactsPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions.
