Visit www.cloudbees.com and follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.\n\nRequirements:\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nThis role operates in an AI-first engineering environment where agentic coding tools are part of your daily toolkit, enabling you to test smarter, faster and with greater confidence.\n\nThese are some of the tasks that you’ll be engaged on:\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test suites across UI, API, and integration layers using Cucumber with Selenium and REST API testing frameworks, leveragingAI tooling where appropriate.\nBuild, extend, and maintain automated regression and CI test suites, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) to deliver fast, reliable quality feedback.\nLeverage AI agentic coding tools (Claude code, Github Copilot) to accelerate test authoring and generate courage for complex user flows.\nPartner with Product Management and Engineering to define acceptance criteria, testable requirements, and quality gates early in the development lifecycle.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing; diagnose defects, drive root cause analysis, and see issues through to resolution.\nParticipate in Pull Request reviews, technical discussions, and design reviews, championing quality, testability, and engineering best practices across the team.\nDesign and execute performance and load tests using Gatling or JMeter, and analyze results to surface bottlenecks and reliability risks.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of our quality engineering practices, tooling, and test frameworks, and help mentor peers on quality standards.\n\nWhat The Role Requires\n\nHands-on experience or demonstrated curiosity with AI agentic coding tools and the ability to effectively direct AI coding tools to generate, extend, and maintain test coverage.\nHighly analytical mindset with a logical, methodical approach to problem solving and root cause analysis.\n3+ years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation, with a track record of building and owning automated tests.\nStrong hands-on experience building automated regression / CI test suites using Cucumber with Selenium and REST APIs.\nProficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).\nAbility to design functional tests, test plans, and test strategies, and to configure test environments and test data.\nExperience with performance testing using Gatling, JMeter, or comparable tools.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate test results and quality risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nBonus: exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and/or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).\nBonus: Familiarity with LLM-based test generation, MCP tooling, or agentic automation workflows..\n\nWhat You'll Get\n\nHighly competitive compensation, equity, and benefits package.\nThe opportunity to work on systems that power software delivery for some of the world's largest engineering organizations.\nA collaborative team that takes craft seriously and invests in each other's growth.\nDirect exposure to product strategy, architectural decision-making, and a front-row seat to how a leading enterprise DevSecOps platform is built.\nHybrid culture with team outings and in-person collaboration.\nEndless growth opportunities at a company backed by Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and other top-tier investors.\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase Pay Range: $85,000 – $100,000 annually In accordance with applicable law, this represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role.
