Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Minimum Requirements:High School diploma or its equivalentGood telephone communication skillsKnowledge of medical terminologyKnowledge of medical proceduresKnowledge of clerical functionsCurrent CPR card (if applicable)Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)Current Health Certificate (if applicable)Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferredMinimum of one year relevant experience preferred.Relevant certification/ license if applicable.Must be at least 18 years of agePay Rate: $26/hrPosition DetailsModality: Medical Assistant Openings: 3 Shifts: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm Shift Days: Weekdays Hours per Week: 40 Contract Length: 13 Week(s) Start Date: 05/11/2026 Details of Assignment: Temp to perm. Extensions in 3-month increments usually with conversion to perm after 6 months. Candidates MUST be wanting to convert to perm. This is not meant to end after the temp 3-6 month period.
