COP Facilities Maintenace Supervisor I

***THIS IS MAINTENANCE***NO PER DIEM*** Position Summary: Provides maintenance and construction services, including conduit work, installing and uninstalling wiring, and daily troubleshooting in commercial office buildings. Position Responsibilities: Flexibility and willingness to work night or day shift as requested. Plan or modify installations to minimize material waste and ensure future maintenance and installation access. Follow blueprints. Install electrical conduit. Connect power cables to equipment using hand tools. Connect wiring to lighting fixtures. Observe the functioning of installed equipment. Test installed equipment for safety and electrical compatibility. Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must have a state of Texas Journeyman electrical license. Valid driver's license. Electrical experience in a maintenance and service environment. Good reading comprehension. Ability to work well with others and be a team player. Good communication skills with clients, co-workers, and supervisors. Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals to determine work procedures. Must have experience using hand tools and power tools. Must have journeyman Electrician tools. Minimum 3-5 years of commercial maintenance experience. Must have reliable transportation and flexibility to work as needed. Valued but Not Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Former Zachry employee. Formal education/degree/technical or trade school. Service truck experience. Communication cabling. Experience with man lifts and forklifts. Experience with 4,160 volts. Reporting to: ConocoPhillips Headquarters located in Houston, Texas. Physical Demands: Requires extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting. Occasional work at heights from man lifts, climbing ladders and stairs. Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, safety vests, gloves, steel-toe boots, and FRCs. Work Environment: Primarily in a climate-controlled environment. Occasionally in all weather conditions, ranging from warm/hot to cool/cold. Low noise levels.
