Senior Financial Analyst, FP&AAbout the Opportunity:Our client is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, to support company-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business performance analytics. This is a hands-on FP&A role for a technically strong finance professional who can build structured financial models, work with ERP and operational data, improve reporting processes, and translate business drivers into clear financial insights.This role is fully onsite in Jacksonville, FL, and will support corporate finance leadership with budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, dashboarding, and process improvement.What You Will Do:Build and maintain driver-based budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and sensitivity models.Develop structured, repeatable financial models that improve forecast accuracy and reporting consistency.Extract, clean, organize, and analyze financial and operational data from ERP, BI, and structured data sources.Support recurring monthly reporting, management reporting packages, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis.Perform variance analysis tied to operational and financial drivers.Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support better business decision-making.Improve reporting workflows by reducing manual spreadsheet work and strengthening automation.Partner with the accounting and operational teams to validate assumptions, improve account mapping, and strengthen financial data structure.Support scalable reporting processes, model integrity, and repeatable planning architecture.Participate in the interview process, including an Excel assessment.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.3 to 6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, finance analytics, or closely related work.Advanced Excel skills, including structured modeling, financial analysis, and data manipulation.Demonstrated experience building, maintaining, and improving complex financial models.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.Ability to work with ERP data, operational data, structured datasets, or BI reporting outputs.Strong analytical judgment with the ability to connect business activity to financial outcomes.Clear communication skills and the ability to partner with Accounting, operations, and business stakeholders.Current and ongoing U.S. work authorization without employer sponsorship.Ability to work 100% onsite in Jacksonville, FL.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with SAP or another major ERP system.Power BI, Tableau, or comparable dashboarding/reporting tool experience.SQL, Power Query, Alteryx, or other structured data/query experience.Experience in improving reporting automation or reducing manual finance processes.Background in manufacturing, medical device, product-based, inventory-heavy, distribution, supply chain, or operational finance environments.Experience supporting the chart of accounts structure, account mapping, dimensional tagging, or financial reporting hierarchy improvements.Compensation and Work Model:Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 base salary targetCandidates above $100,000 may be considered for exceptional fit.Work model: 100% onsiteLocation: Jacksonville, FLSchedule: Full-time, standard business hoursTravel: NoneRelocation: Candidates may be considered if they can relocate at their own expense and meet the on-site requirement.Sponsorship: Employer sponsorship is not available.How to Apply:If you have strong FP&A experience, advanced Excel modeling ability, and a track record of improving financial reporting through structured data and scalable processes, please apply or contact Christian Kincer at Ascendo Resources for consideration.
