The Maintenance Supervisor's primary responsibility is the quality of the marina facilities. This person has a solid understanding of maintenance allowing for the smooth operation of a marina property and is able to supervise a group of Maintenance Associates to carry out daily duties. The Maintenance Supervisor projects a professional company image through all types of interaction and is able to seamlessly and efficiently operate in a fast-paced environment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide the highest level of customer and guest servicesComplete routine facilities inspections, identifying areas for resolutionRoutinely operate motor and water vehicles as well as other various mechanized equipmentMonitor maintenance budget and expensesAssist in the management of relationships with contractors and service providersEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Proven experience as a Maintenance Lead or other supervisory roleWorking knowledge of facilities machines and equipmentMust have highly effective communication and time management skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership abilitiesWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) poundsMust be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergencyMust be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionallyMust be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.STATEMENT OF PURPOSEThis document provides descriptive information about the above Suntex Marinas position.
