This position is [Washington DC/ possibly hybrid].\n\nRoles/Responsibilities:\nAdvises senior leadership and program managers on strategic direction, aligning recommendations with current industry standards and emerging innovations within a specialized functional area.\nProvides high-level vision to shape objectives and outcomes for complex programs, projects, and organizational initiatives.\nDevelops and guides functional procedures, processes, and policies based on deep subject-matter expertise.\nLeads and supports in-depth research, studies, and analyses to inform decision-making and strategic planning.\nEvaluates challenges and develops actionable, evidence-based solutions to address complex problems.\nApplies advanced principles, methodologies, and domain knowledge to design and implement specialized solutions.\nContributes expertise across areas such as data analytics, economic and behavioral analysis, systems and network communications, process improvement, performance management, and regulatory compliance.\n\nRequired Skills and Education:\nBachelor’s degree at least 3 years’ experience\nSystems Engineering (or technical) experience\nExcellent oral and written communications skills\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills\nPreferred qualifications\nAdvanced degree (MS or PhD)\nKnowledge of Department of Homeland Security Acquisition and Systems Engineering policy\n\nSecurity Clearance:\nDHS Suitability\nSecret\n\nWhen you work for JRAD you will never be just a number.
