Ranch Hand

Part-Time Ranch Hand Location: Seamark Ranch - Green Cove Springs, FL Schedule: Part-Time (up to 20-25 hours per week; flexible scheduling available) Reports To: Facilities Manager Position Summary Seamark Ranch is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Ranch Hand to support the upkeep and daily operations of our 465-acre campus. This role involves hands-on work in property maintenance, animal care, landscaping, and assisting with facility maintenance and various projects across the Ranch. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, take pride in their work, and align with Seamark Ranch's mission to provide a Christ-centered environment for children and families in need. Key Responsibilities Assist with groundskeeping duties: mowing, trimming, weeding, and general landscape upkeepPerform routine maintenance and repairs: fence mending, trail clearing, painting, etc.Assist with facility and infrastructure maintenance and construction.Support animal care: feeding, cleaning pens/stalls, and maintaining livestock areasHelp with gardening and agricultural projects (planting, watering, harvesting)Clean and maintain workspaces, tools, and equipmentAssist during Ranch events, special projects, or volunteer daysFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized environment Requirements Must be able to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and operate hand/power tools safelyReliable transportation to and from the RanchPositive attitude and willingness to take direction and work independently or on a teamMust pass Level 2 background checks (DCF and MVR, if applicable) Preferred Qualifications Experience in general labor, landscaping, agriculture, or ranch workFamiliarity with basic livestock care and small farm operationsCommitment to the mission and values of Seamark Ranch Compensation Hourly wage based on experiencePart-time, non-benefitted position About Seamark Ranch Seamark Ranch is a Christ-centered residential care community for children in need, located on a working ranch in Northeast Florida.
