Mental Health Technician - PRN (Per Diem/ As Needed)

Mental Health Technician Opportunity River Park Hospital is hiring for full time and Per Diem Mental Health Technicians (MHTs)! The full-time position offers 40 hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package. This position offers a $2,500 sign on bonus! The sign on bonus is paid out in the following increments: $500 at 3 months, $1000 at 6 months, $1000 at 12 months. River Park Hospital is a 165-bed facility and a leader in behavioral health care, located in Huntington, WV. River Park provides acute inpatient services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors and features a 22-bed residential treatment program for children and adolescents and a 25-bed adult forensic unit. Qualifications Responsibilities include developing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum, assuring and improving quality care by facilitating the patient and family's right to receive safe, quality, and cost-effective care, maintaining and protecting confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient care and information, demonstrating a commitment to meeting the learning needs of patients by utilizing appropriate resources to meet those needs and achieve positive patient outcomes, conducting patient rounds related to routine and heightened observation status, interacting in a therapeutic manner to decrease crisis within the patient care setting, demonstrating respect and understanding for patients, peers and other clinical disciplines and participating as an effective member of the patient care team.
