In return for your contributions, you will be rewarded with career growth opportunities, an incredibly competitive market salary, and other benefits that include:\r\nPaid time off (PTO)\r\nPaid Holidays\r\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans\r\n401(k) with a high percentage match\r\nGenerous profit sharing\r\nCell phone stipend\r\nReferral bonus opportunities\r\nEmployee discounts\r\nAnd more!\r\nJOB TITLE: Millwork Driver\r\nFUNCTION: The Driver I, Building Materials is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of building materials and products as specified by customer orders and Company standards.\r\nLOCATION: St. George, UT\r\nKEY ACTIVITIES\r\nVisualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.\r\nSafely drive and operate lumber delivery truck.\r\nAssume responsibility for the proper operation and maintenance of company vehicle.\r\nPerform daily pre and post safety checklists on mixer truck prior to and following hauling concrete.\r\nObserve and obey all traffic laws in the operation of assigned company vehicle.\r\nRecord the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) log at the end of each shift.\r\nRecord all information on each delivery ticket and turn in a signed delivery ticket.\r\nDeliver orders/building materials to each customer according the specifications on the delivery ticket.\r\nProvide exceptional customer service and team support.\r\nAdvise management of any customer situations beyond scope of authority.\r\nMaintain a commercial driver's license (CDL) and department of transportation (DOT) medical card.\r\nMaintain insurable driving record.\r\nMaintain a clean and safe working environment, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns.\r\nOperate equipment according to specification and in alignment with designated safety standards.\r\nAdhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.\r\nPerform other duties as required.\r\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\r\nStrong process/procedure orientation.\r\nEffective written and verbal communication/comprehension skills.\r\nStrong team and customer service skills.\r\nAbility to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment.\r\nDemonstrates initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.\r\nSafety conscious.\r\nKnowledge of DOT compliance regulations.\r\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\r\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).\r\nClean driving record.\r\nTrack record of safety-conscious performance.\r\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\r\nPhysical Work Requirements - Heavy: exerting up to 50 -75 lbs of force regularly.\r\nRepetitive motion associated with operating a forklift and other equipment.\r\nFrequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.\r\nOutdoor working conditions, sometimes in extreme climates.\r\nThis description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or work conditions associated with this job.
