Tableau Developer
Position Overview CG Infinity is seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain data visualization solutions that empower business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau, data modeling, and storytelling through data, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/CloudTranslate business requirements into scalable and intuitive data visualizationsBuild and optimize data sources, extracts, and dashboards for performance and usabilityCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insightsConduct data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracyImplement best practices in data visualization, dashboard design, and governanceMaintain and enhance existing Tableau reports and dashboardsIntegrate Tableau with various data sources (SQL databases, cloud platforms, APIs, etc.)Support data-driven decision-making through compelling storytelling and analyticsDocument solutions, processes, and technical designs Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field3+ years of experience in Tableau developmentStrong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and/or Tableau CloudExperience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle)Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing conceptsExperience building dashboards, reports, and visual analytics solutionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Preferred QualificationsExperience with ETL processes/tools (e.g., Alteryx, Informatica, dbt, or similar)Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Knowledge of scripting languages (Python or R) for data analysisExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesTableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Data Analyst) Key CompetenciesData storytelling and visualization designAttention to detail and data accuracyPerformance optimizationCollaboration and teamworkClient-facing communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Get to Know Us CG Infinity, Inc. is a technology consulting firm that was founded in 1998.
