Equipment Specialist
Equipment Specialist – Albany, GAAlexandria Insights is seeking an Equipment Specialists in Albany, GA to perform logistics activities associated with systems / equipment managed by Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC). Most activities will be performed at government facilities aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany, GA – however, travel will be required to other CONUS and OCONUS locations. A sampling of duties / responsibilities associated with these positions include:Perform general logistics activities in support of acquisition and sustainment operationsReview, develop, validate, analyze and update publications (e.g., Operation Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, Modification Instructions, Technical Instructions, SL-3's and Special Supply Instructions)Draft and review Statements of Work (SOWs) for various customer componentsProvide coordination and management of various systems and processes as requiredAssist in the initial provisioning and fielding of new equipment to include new equipment asset management and inventory controlProvide assistance in the management of spares, repair parts, and supplies needed to meet program requirementsManage Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs) and assist in providing resolutionsSupport equipment fielding eventsTravel and perform other duties as requiredQualifications:Bachelor's Degree or 3 to 8 years of additional relevant experience; experience commensurate with the levelExperience in USMC Logistics, Maintenance Management, and/or Supply Chain ManagementAbility to effectively work independently and as part of an integrated team of Government and non-Government stakeholders is requiredExperience with MCSC policies, processes, and environments is required for Mid and Senior levelsPrior exp using and/or providing support for multiple systems in various phases of the acquisition cycle including High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems and their associated Family of Munitions, Ground Based Missiles, Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data Systems, Naval C2 systems and the Mobile Tactical Shelter/Mobile Command Vehicle is desiredExcellent MS Office skills are requiredExceptional interpersonal skills, go-getter attitude, and a passion for the Marine Corps mission are requiredStrong oral/written communication skills, and analytical capabilities are requiredAbility to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance is requiredSalary Range - $65,000 to $90,000This position is contingent upon winning awardJoin a Top Workplace!Alexandria Insights, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), was recently named one of The Washington Post's Top 250 Workplaces in the Washington, D.C.
