You won't just be representing SOVDA, you'll be a genuine technical partner to our customers, guiding them from first conversation through commissioning, and helping them build production systems that perform as well as the coffee they produce.\nYou'll work closely with our Aftersales Manager and be a core part of a growing technical team with real scope to develop as SOVDA scales.\nWhat You'll Do\nBe the expert on site. Lead equipment installations and commissioning at some of the world's leading specialty roasteries, ensuring every SOVDA system is set up right and performing to spec from day one.\nSolve problems in the field and remotely. Provide hands-on troubleshooting at customer sites and expert support by phone and video, keeping production moving and customers confident.\nSpeak the language. Communicate fluently with roasters and production teams, translating technical realities into clear, practical guidance that builds lasting trust.\nKeep things organised. Track installations, service updates, and customer activity in HubSpot so nothing falls through the cracks and the wider team always has the full picture.\nShow up for the industry. Represent SOVDA at select trade events and customer visits with the kind of steady, credible presence our customers rely on.\nWho We're Looking For\nWe know the perfect candidate on paper doesn't always exist, and we'd rather find the right person than tick every box. If you understand how a roastery runs and can hold your own in a conversation with a production team, you'll fit right in.\nMechanical confidence. Comfort with hand tools and a natural aptitude for troubleshooting and working with technical equipment matters a lot in this role. Formal qualifications aren't required; practical ability is.\nA love of being on the road. This role typically involves around 10 days of travel a month, up to 15 when things get busy.
