This role is responsible for operating plating lines, maintaining chemical baths, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring high-quality plating results in accordance with industry and safety standards. Primary Responsibilities:Operate and maintain manual and automated plating lines Perform chemical titrations and adjust bath concentrations Monitor voltage, current density, and immersion times based on specifications Clean anodes, replace filters, and perform routine preventative maintenance Inspect plating quality using XRF and cross-sectioning methods Maintain accurate production and chemical usage logs (ISO 9001:2015 compliance) Technical Requirements:2+ years in wet-process manufacturing preferred (not required) Basic understanding of chemistry (pH, molarity, electrolytic/electroless solutions) Ability to perform basic surface area calculations Ability to read blueprints, traveler sheets, and technical drawings Key Skills:Strong attention to detail (critical for preventing defects such as pitting or burn marks) Commitment to safety and PPE compliance Problem-solving ability in a manufacturing environment Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs Working Conditions:Exposure to chemicals, fumes, wet floors, and industrial noise Full PPE required (gloves, apron, face shield, etc.) Must comply with OSHA/EPA safety and environmental regulations Skills: Hazmat Production Technician/Mechanic
