This role is ideal for a detail-oriented compliance professional with strong expertise in laboratory billing, regulatory oversight, and data analytics. You will play a critical role in identifying risk, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring adherence to federal and state healthcare regulations.This opportunity is full time located at 9200 Wall Street Austin, TX 78754.In This Role, You WillConduct compliance audits and monitoring activities across clinical and billing operationsSupport the annual compliance risk assessment and work plan developmentAnalyze data to identify trends, risks, and compliance gapsAudit revenue cycle functions (ABNs, charge master, denials, standing orders)Review Medicare guidelines including CCI edits, MUEs, LCDs/NCDsDevelop and maintain auditing tools within XiFin and other systemsTrack and evaluate corrective actions and remediation effectivenessPerform on-site laboratory and phlebotomy compliance inspectionsSupport investigations, hotline activities, and compliance reportingDeliver Compliance and HIPAA training across the organizationTravel: ~25% (one week/month)All You Need IsBachelor’s degree (Healthcare Compliance, Health Sciences, or related field preferred)3+ years of healthcare compliance and/or medical billing experienceStrong knowledge of laboratory billing and Medicare regulationsExperience with XiFin or similar billing systemsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesBonus Points If You’ve GotCHC, CPC, or equivalent certificationLaboratory operations experienceWe’ll Give YouAppreciation for your workA feeling of satisfaction that you’ve helped peopleOpportunity to grow in your professionFree lab services for you and your dependentsWork-life balance, including Paid Time Off and Paid HolidaysCompetitive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insuranceHelp saving for retirement, with a 401(k) plus a company matchA sense of belonging – we’re a community!We Also Want You To KnowThis role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI).
