A Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating the band saw, press brakes, shears, and ironworkers in order to assist the production team in completing customer orders per the direction of their supervisor. It is essential the Machine Operator promotes a safe and efficient work environment while embracing a continuous improvement culture. Essential Duties: Safely operate band saws, press brakes, shears, and ironworkersRead and interpret blueprintsAids with general assembly in fabrication departmentMoves materials through the operation of cranes, forklifts and/or pallet jacksAssist co-workers and the department supervisor with meeting production targetsMaintain a healthy and safe working environmentTake on other duties as necessary to achieve company goals Ideal Candidate: Experience operating band saws, press brakes, shears and ironworkers is a plus, but not requiredAbility to read a tape measure up to 16thsSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and efficientlySolid communication skillsBe able to lift and carry heavy objects (50lbs +) Other Information:Hourly - Full Time (M-F; 7:00AM-3:30PM; potential overtime opportunities)Works out of our Manchester NH location, 983 S.
