A person must be highly motivated and self-driven to ensure our customers receive superior service and quality products.\nRESPONSIBILITES:\nOperate forklift\nLearning & getting Certified on the Selcos (saws) to cut material\nLearning& getting Certifiedthe Vertical Saw to cut small material\nLearning and training on how to make skids (custom in house skids) made from scrap material\nUnloads trucks and move materials\nDelivers and stores product in designated racking locations\nPicks material in specific production sequence\nUnderstands materials and colors\nRead and understand work orders\nKeeps warehouse clean, safe and organized\nREQUIREMENTS:\nForklift Certified onsite (Previous Driving Experience is a Plus)\nMust be able to read and understand paperwork (parts, locations, special instructions/notes)\nTake the initiative to keep busy and find tasks for the day\nIdentifying materials to cut down to appropriate parts/ sizes (knowing what is appropriate to throw away) Small parts non usable\nFind new ways to better save material to reducewaste\nFinding a location to store dunnage boards (bad material) 4X8, 5x8, & 5X10\nKnowing how many boards we are cutting down a day (Keep a spread sheet) To document savings\nKnowing when to communicate with the Supervisor when is need it to cut materials down (ask if he can help) or if you have to cut material yourself.\nKeeping track (Inventorying) of what we cut, how many skids of material we have on hand documenting daily / weekly\nWhen not moving material around, Cutting, updating inventory of waste materials, we are making Skids and looking for improvements. Cleaning up outside around dumpsters & dust boxes.
