In this role, you will accurately pull, verify, stage, and prepare customer and branch orders for shipment. Our products include fasteners, tools, and related industrial supplies.\n\nIf you are dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working on your feet, and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we want to hear from you!\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nPull customer and branch orders accurately and efficiently based on scheduled and prioritized orders.\nUse RF scanners and warehouse systems to record product, quantities, tracking information, box counts, and weights.\nVerify orders for accuracy before they are shipped.\nIdentify and correct picking errors, missing items, and quantity discrepancies.\nReview inventory when products cannot be located and communicate issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.\nStage completed orders in the appropriate shipping area.\nRepackage or relabel products as needed to ensure orders are clean, accurate, and professionally prepared.\nPrepare shipments, pallet labels, and truck manifests.\nAccurately complete packing lists, invoices, freight documents, bills of lading, and other required paperwork.\nAssist with processing customer returns and ensure returned products are handled according to company procedures.\nWork closely with Receiving, Shipping, Packaging, and other warehouse team members to maintain an efficient workflow.\nCommunicate inventory, order, and shipping issues promptly to supervisors.\nImmediately report safety hazards or unsafe conditions to a Supervisor or Manager.\nFollow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.\nQualifications\nPrevious general warehouse, order pulling, picking, packing, or shipping experience preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to read and follow written instructions and product information.\nBasic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse systems and RF scanners.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\nReliable attendance and a strong work ethic.\nForklift or cherry-picker experience is a plus.\n\n Physical Requirements\n\nAbility to lift and move heavy items weighing 50+ pounds.\nAbility to stand and walk for most of an 8-hour or longer shift.\nFrequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving products throughout the warehouse.\nAbility to safely perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.\nPre-Employment Requirements\n\nAll positions require successful completion of a mandatory pre-employment drug screening and background check.\n\nWhy Join Copper State Bolt & Nut Company?\n\nCopper State Bolt & Nut Company is a growing distributor of fasteners, tools, and industrial products.
