Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring an Implementation Technician to join our dynamic Data Cloud Services (DCS) Professional Services Group based in our Springfield, OH office. This is a hybrid role with a schedule of 3 days on-site and 2 days work from home. This position reports to the Director of Professional Services and is responsible for the configuration of client environments. Roles of the Implementation Technician include establishing connections to clients’ networks, databases, and file systems and working with clients to compile information for establishing the connection to client servers and loading data to the company cloud environment.\nResponsibilities:\nAs an Implementation Technician at Woolpert, you will:\nEstablish connections between business and client computer systems using varying means of connection.\nTrack progress and ensuring completion of multiple installations.\nInstall software on client servers.\nConfigure software.\nLoad data to the cloud environment.\nEnsure services are running and initial syncs are successful.\nInvestigate and resolve any issues found during client setup.\nRead logs to determine the success or failure of a process.\nReport issues using a ticketing system.\nCommunicate issues to the lead or client.\nEnsure the project team is aware of key deliverables and project milestones.\nCreate and maintain documentation for each client installation, detailing all customizations made.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Requirements\nAA/AS or BA/BS degree in Computer Science/computer-related field is preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nExperience with Open Database Connectivity (ODBC).\nWorking knowledge and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).\nExperience with at least one relational database (SQL Server, Oracle, Access, and/or DB2).\nExperience reading and modifying HTML, XML, and JSON scripts and files.\nComfortability speaking with clients.\nStrong communication skills (written and verbal).\nMS Office suite skills.\nStrong organizational and detail-oriented skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to multitask effectively and efficiently.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience, knowledge, or expertise in mass appraisal, county auditor/assessor, or treasurer office.\nMinimum of two (2) years of technical-related work experience.\nExperience with ODBC.\nFamiliarity with virtual private networks (VPN), Remote Desktop connections, and remote support tools.\n\nUnique Benefits\nCertified as a Great Place to Work®, Woolpert is one of the fastest growing architecture, engineering, and geospatial (AEG) companies in the world.
