This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about construction and project management to develop their skills in estimating, project coordination, and client communication. The ideal candidate will support project teams by preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing blueprints, and assisting with project planning from start to finish.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate with senior estimators and project mangers to prepare detailed project planning using estimating software such as StruMis and Bluebeam.\nReview construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to interpret project scope and material requirements.\nAssist in developing project budgets by estimating material costs, labor, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.\nSupport project management activities including tracking costs, managing project schedules, and updating spreadsheets for cost control.\nCommunicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to clarify project details and negotiate pricing when necessary.\nRead and interpret construction drawings to determine quantities and specifications for materials needed on projects.\nContribute to the review of contracts and construction management software to ensure projects stay within scope and budget.\nQualifications\nBasic proficiency in Bluebeam, StruMis or similar estimating software.\nStrong understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and cost estimation.\nKnowledge of construction industry practices including material cost estimating, cost management, and project budgeting.\nExcellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.\nConstruction site experience or background in construction management is preferred but not required.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.\nJoin us as an Entry Level Estimator/Project Engineer and be part of a company that values growth, innovation, and craftsmanship!
