We’re building the most comprehensive set of capabilities in the entire industry, enabling us to deliver solutions for every supply constraint across the industrial base.OverviewThe Materials Coordinator is responsible for receiving and inspecting all incoming aerospace components, hardware, and materials. You will verify every shipment against purchase orders and documentation, ensure parts meet engineering requirements before they reach the floor, and own internal material movement throughout the shop from receiving through build completion.ResponsibilitiesReceiving & InspectionReceive incoming shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, and conditions against purchase orders and packing documentationInspect parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable quality requirementsReview material certifications, certificates of conformance, and traceability documentation for completeness and accuracyIdentify, tag, and quarantine nonconforming material and initiate the NCR/MRB processLog all receipts accurately in the ERP/MRP system with correct part numbers, lots, serials, and datesCommunicate discrepancies, shortages, and substitutions to supply chain and production teams promptlyMaintain organized receiving records and inspection logs in accordance with quality system requirementsInternal Material Movement & Shop SupportOwn internal material movement throughout the shop — from receiving and stockroom through kitting, staging, and delivery to the build areaPrepare work orders by kitting parts and hardware and staging materials so builds can start without delaySupport cycle counts, physical inventory, and stockroom organizationKeep the receiving area and material storage areas clean, organized, and safeQualifications 2+ years of receiving, inspection, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&TProficiency with basic measurement tools — calipers, micrometers, gaugesExperience cross-referencing received hardware against purchase orders and accompanying documentationExperience logging receipts in an ERP or MRP systemSharp attention to detail and high standards for accuracyComfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and every role mattersNice to haveAerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing backgroundFamiliarity with AS9100, NADCAP, or similar quality standardsExperience supporting NCR/MRB dispositionForklift certificationCompensation And Benefits$25-30 / hourlyGold PPO health insurance with $0 deductible 100% covered by Amca,Dental and Vision insurance 100% covered by AmcaThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
