Lead in the areas of cost, schedule, and performance.\nDirect a focused program, including strategic planning, analyzing program activities, expenses, and profits, and establishing goals.\nPlan and direct a group of individuals, monitoring their work and taking corrective actions when necessary.\nEnsure risks are properly managed and mitigated to avoid becoming issues. Risk management is critical to project success. Create a robust process for the identification, management, and mitigation of risk.\nThe Program Manager must have strong practical experience in project management, gained by managing manufacturing-related projects.\nQualifications\nKnowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques\n2+ years experience with automotive and/or aerospace fixtures required\nKnowledge of machining, tool build, welding and CMM processes in regards to timing, milestones, and deadlines\nProficient in using Microsoft Office programs\nUnderstanding of the wider objectives of the program\nThe ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems\nWillingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads\nAbility to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management\nRequires strong leadership and people skills.
