Director, Merchandising

Role OverviewThe Director of Merchandising leads the merchandising strategy for the Americas, driving product assortment, buying and distribution to support the success of Chloe’s collections.This role combines strategic leadership with strong business acumen, translating global vision into a regionally relevant assortment while optimizing sales performance, inventory productivity, and client experience. The director partners closely with HQ and cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and elevated merchandising approach across all channels.ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead merchandising strategy for the Americas, aligned with HQ direction and regional business objectivesBuild and refine seasonal assortments aligned with business goals and brand positioningUse market trends and client insights to inform product decisionsOversee end-to-end buying process and OTB strategyEnsure alignment between assortment decision and financial targetsOwn business performance, driving sell through, margin and inventory optimizationProvide strategic oversight on pricing and in-season actionLead forecasting and planningDrive inventory optimization and product availability across the regionPartner with cross functional department and HQ to ensure alignment on product strategy and launchesOversee regional allocation and distribution strategy across stores and clientsMonitor distribution performance and ensure alignment with business prioritiesPartner with local and HQ teams to optimize product availability and executionQualifications10+ years merchandising experience within a luxury brandProficiency in Microsoft Excel. (VLOOKUP, Sumifs, Pivot etc.) and PowerPoint.Experience with Anaplan & SAPAbility to lead strategy and drive businessDeep understanding of planning, buying and inventory managementStrategic thinking and data-driven mind set with strong communication skillsDetail-orientedRichemont offers a generous compensation and benefits package for eligible employees.
