We’re seeking a detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our Development Department.\n\nOur Development Department partners with strategy, design, and front-end teams to bring engaging, content-driven digital experiences to life. This role is focused on building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites that are performant, accessible, and easy to manage.\n\nThis position is well-suited for someone who enjoys CMS-driven development, custom theming, and working closely with designers and content teams.\n\nSpecific Responsibilities\nDevelop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites\nBuild custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements\nImplement designs with attention to responsiveness, accessibility, and performance\nIntegrate WordPress with third-party services, APIs, and marketing tools\nMaintain and optimize WordPress databases and site performance\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve site issues across environments\nCollaborate with designers, front-end developers, and project managers\nProvide project updates and technical guidance to internal teams\nStay current with WordPress core updates, plugin ecosystems, and security best practices\nPrimary Qualifications\nStrong experience developing with WordPress\nProficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript\nExperience creating custom themes and plugins (not just page builders)\nUnderstanding of WordPress performance, security, and deployment best practices\nExpected Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)\n1–3 years of professional WordPress development experience\nExperience working with modern WordPress workflows, including:\nCustom themes (block or classic)\nPlugin development\nGit-based source control\nFamiliarity with hosting platforms, staging environments, and deployment workflows\nThis position provides a market-competitive base salary between $55,000 and $65,000, with the final amount determined by the candidates' experience and qualifications.\nPerks & Benefits\nWe provide many perks & benefits that support our team members with their health, continued education, and home life.
