Before some materials can be moved this position may also be responsible for kitting all the required parts, as noted on the BOM. Through this processes ensures work centers are loaded with sufficient workload to avoid unecessary downtime.\nJob Duties:\nKits stock and/or sales order jobs from the work center priority list based on what is ready to be kitted and coming due.\nRoutes kitted jobs to their designated staging areas.\nRoutes kitted jobs to next operation based on the priority order the foremen assigns those jobs.\nPicks up all green tagged parts and takes them to the next staging area whether for OPPNT, painted in-house, outside operation, etc.\nPuts away stock or sales order parts that are not ready for kitting in the designated location. The location may be a temporary area in the Weld Warehouse.\nManufacturing receipts stock parts into inventory.\nMaintains a clean and safe work environment. Reports defective tools and equipment.\nComplies with all safety rules and regulations.\nDemonstrates the Caldwell values in all work activities.\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum one year forklift experience\nMinimum one year overhead crane experience\nPrior experience with ERP systems\nGood verbal communication skills\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints\nPhysical Requirements:\nFrequently required to stand, sit, walk and stoop; bend, kneel or crouch; talk or hear. Regularly required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
