Apply via Dice today!Job DescriptionA(n) Electrical Engineering job in Vergennes, VT 05491 is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and 3-5 of relevant experience.Job Duties: Support the design, simulation, and validation of electrical circuits and systems for motor control applications Assist with the development of switching power supplies and power converter technologies Contribute to electrical engineering activities for new product development to meet specifications, quality standards, and functional objectives Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, systems, software, and project engineering teams to support integrated product development Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on existing products to improve reliability, yield, and performance Create and maintain engineering documentation for new and existing hardwareRequired Qualifications: Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field 1-4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience (or MS with 0-2 years) U.S. Citizenship required Ability to work in a structured, process-driven engineering environmentPreferred Qualifications & Skills: Exposure to aerospace or defense electrical or electromechanical systems Familiarity with motor control technologies, including BLDC motors Experience or academic exposure to PCB design tools (Mentor Graphics, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro, or Altium) Experience using circuit simulation tools such as SPICE Awareness of EMI/EMC and environmental qualification standards (MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, DO-160) Hands-on experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimetersWe provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $80,000-155,000, however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
