Sunrise Manor & Convalescent Center - Sunrise Manor located in Amelia OH is seeking an experienced Director of Dining Services. The primary responsibility of the Director of Dining Services include establishing and maintaining all standards of quality and productivity within the Dietary Department that enhances the quality of life for those residents entrusted to our care.Primary Job Responsibilities of the Director of Dining Services - Dietary Manager:Establish, document, direct, and assist with general kitchen and dining room sanitation proceduresPrepare schedules for all shifts, for all kitchen and dining room staff and post in their work areasRecruit, hire, train, discipline, and supervise a full complement of staffComply with all state, local, or federal rules, regulations, and licensing requirements related to health, safety (OSHA) and general operations of the Dietary DepartmentCooking will be a daily responsibilityDirector of Dining Services Expectations:Understand how to approach and communicate with all residentsMaintain and sustain a safe community and workplaceFollow Healthcare's Policies, Procedures, and ManualsAccept other duties as assignedJob Requirements of Director of Dining Services- Food Service DirectorMust be a Certified Dietary Manager with at least 2 years of experienceMinimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalentCulinary, and\or Dietary Manager Certification preferred, or the ability to become certifiedServe Safe certification or equivalent requiredMinimum three years supervisory experience within a dietary environmentExperience in fine dining preferredMust have a working knowledge of kitchen equipment operations; knowledge of nutrition and diet, and kitchen sanitationAs a Sunrise Manor employee you will enjoy working in an environment that promotes professional growth and development that offers competitive wages and PTO plans, benefit options such as medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as life insurance and disability plans.Job Type: Full-timeIND123
