Visits more than 200 customers premises per day, which involves walking or driving to each premise. Reports customer complaints received and numerous other conditions (e.g., broken meter seals, by-passed meters, gas leaks, damaged meters, unusual increased or decreased service usage, turned over dials, grounded meters and vacant premises). In case of increased or decreased usage, attempts to determine reason. In case of vacant premises, issues inactive/occupied order. Reseals electric meters. Performs various audits on Company equipment at periodic intervals. Safeguards customers' keys. Locks premises where keys are used to gain entrance. Returns keys no longer needed, when able to secure customers' signature for release. Protects microprocessor against loss, damage, or theft. Note: Ability to work under adverse conditions of weather, places, people and animals.
