This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis. The ideal candidate brings a mix of operational accounting expertise and business insight, preferably within product-based or distribution environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Management & Reporting\nOversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements\nEnsure compliance with GAAP and all applicable regulations\nManage the general ledger, account reconciliations, collections and closing processes\nProduce timely and accurate management reports and financial analyses\nOperational Accounting\nSupervise accounting for inventory, cost of goods sold, and warehousing operations\nMonitor margins across product lines (office supplies vs. furniture)\nEnsure accurate tracking of freight, logistics, and installation costs\nPartner with operations and sales teams to improve profitability\nInternal Controls & Compliance\nDevelop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets\nEnsure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and reporting requirements\nCoordinate external audits and act as the primary liaison with auditors\nBudgeting & Forecasting\nLead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting\nAnalyze variances and provide actionable insights to leadership\nSupport strategic planning and financial modeling initiatives\nTeam Leadership\nManage and mentor the accounting team\nFoster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement\nEvaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and workflows\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)\n7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles\nExperience in distribution, retail, manufacturing, or furniture/office products industry preferred\nStrong knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting principles\nProficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skill\nKey Competencies\nStrategic thinking with strong attention to detail\nAbility to translate financial data into business insights\nStrong leadership and team development skills\nProcess improvement mindset\nHigh level of integrity and accountability\nAbout the Company\nImpact Office a division of TSRC, Inc., is a business-to-business distributor of office supplies, furniture, coffee and breakroom products, janitorial and cleaning supplies, promotional products, and technology solutions to customers seeking customized workplace solutions and personalized service.
