Data Operations\nCreate fundamental data standards around data collection, data storage, data management, data accessibility, and data usability\nIdentify and fill gaps in the data life-cycle procedures by documenting them.\nPartner with the Abiomed IT Manager Architect on documenting the flow of data across all Abiomed products and platforms\nII. Data Quality Management\nDefine standards to ensure that data is accurate, complete, consistent, reliable, relevant, and current.\nImplement data validation processes in order to guarantee that data is precise and comprehensive, involving verifying errors, inconsistencies, and missing data.\nImplement data cleansing processes in order to eliminate or rectify inaccurate, incomplete, or duplicated data.\nImplement monitoring data accuracy processes in order to regularly verify data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing data, and ensure that the organization’s data remains reliable for decision-making and optimizing operations.\nIII. Business Value Through Data Analytics\nPartner with business stakeholders to identify data needs and drive data-driven decision-making\nDrive data innovation and analytics initiatives to uncover business insights and opportunities\nModerate enterprise data demand by bridging the gap between business and technology.\nDefine the product / platform vision, strategy and OKR’s for the applications being delivered, aligning business demand with the product/ platform roadmap\nEstablish technology roadmaps to achieve efficient & effective delivery of business & customer value for assigned product / platform\nBalance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing features, optimizing cost, and improving delivery efficiency\nHelp Product Owners prioritize their backlogs, manage product / platform constraints, and resolve cross-team dependencies; manage demand intake as required\nWork in close partnership with the Product Owner and Engineer roles to manage risk in backlog\nDefine the standards for the product / platform, including overall design and features, development standards, release management processes and schedules, testing / validation, compliance, and master data structures\nDrive selection of product / platform solution options, work with the Lead Engineer to assess tech elements of the solution prior to user testing and to balance tech debt\nIV. Data Governance and Security\nImplement data governance frameworks and monitoring data quality and integrity\nEnsure compliance with data regulations and apply when needed data privacy policies.\nPartner with the ISRM teams to ensure that data across Abiomed is meeting J&J security standards and that sensitive data is protected\n\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field\n10+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and business intelligence development with 5+ years in a managerial role\nExcellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience of driving data-driven decision-making and business insights.\nKnowledge of data governance, data management, and data analytics.\nKnowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance with data protection regulations.\nAbility to lead a team of IT Data & Analytics Technical Product Owners\nExperience gathering requirements and translating into a product vision through deep expertise in product development, engineering, and UX\nProficiency in Microsoft Azure, SQL, Power BI, Tableau and ETL processes\nExperience building data access and visualization tools\nAbility to function as part of a broader organizational team. Big picture orientation with solid attention to detail. Collaboration skills and the ability to build strong relationships with partners. A results and performance driven attitude with solid sense of accountability and drive to get results.\nExperience with system development lifecycle methodology.\nExperience leading technical conversations, workshops and workstreams to consensus/conclusions/actions.\nProven ability to understand and articulate business requirements, direction, and initiatives, including ability to balance requirements from an enterprise, sector and franchise/region level.\nAbility to translate business strategy into technology strategy within a complex and matrixed environment.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to translate and transform complex topics into concise architectural diagrams and presentations.\nStrong ability to build and manage relationships at various levels, both inside and outside an organization.\nExperience in the MedTech industry with FDA, ISO, and IEC requirements and guidelines including risk analysis and quality assurance.\nKnowledge of healthcare processes, data and terminology.\nExperience working in regulated environment (e.g. GxP, HIPAA, GDPR …).\nPreferred:\nA Master's degree in Information Technology or a relevant discipline is preferred.\nProven work experience in a senior data leadership role.\nExperience working in a multi-functional or cross-geographic context.\nAbility to context switch between multiple complex and fast-moving projects while maintaining high quality and rapid delivery.\nProject and program management experience (e.g. PMP, Agile, Scrum, …)\nData Analytics Certifications (ie.
