This position requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), established manufacturing practices and procedures, and compliance with quality regulations and guidelines.Work Assignments:Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Follow cGMP including proper documentation and labeling of product and work performedWork under the guidance of the Pollen Team LeaderPerform cleaning of facility and equipment as directed by the SOPsUnderstand general safety guidelines as well as those for the use of chainsaws, bucket trucks, climbing equipment, and sharp objectsIdentify in the field plant products to be collectedRack collected product for drying at the end of each dayMonitor and maintain vehicles and equipment used for collectingEducational or Equivalent:High School Diploma or GED preferredKnowledge/Skill:Prior experience with cGMP activities a plus but not requiredLegible handwritingBasic mathematical skillsDetail-orientedWorking knowledge of plants is preferredAbility to climb trees is preferredPhysical/Mental:Ability to accept and follow directionContinuous standing for 2-3 hour periods for duration of work dayAbility to use Personal Protective Equipment as requiredTolerant to heat and cold associated with outdoor conditionsLifting up to 50 lbs. frequently pulling, pushing, and bendingTravel up to 50% Main Travel February - JuneALK is an equal opportunity employer with competitive pay and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, life and disability insurance, 401k plan with employer contribution, 12 company paid holidays per year, and up to 2 weeks' paid time off in the first year of employment with the company!Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16/hour Benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Retirement plan Paid time off Tuition reimbursement
