They use open-source intelligence, proprietary tools, and industry best practices to identify potential areas of risk or non-compliance. By identifying potentially risky, illegal, or otherwise violative activities, the Analyst contributes directly to LegitScript’s mission of making the internet and payment ecosystems safer and more transparent. They work in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable balancing competing priorities and delivering their work within deadlines.\nWhat You'll Do: Analyze, assess, and/or classify certification applicants by using open-source intelligence, proprietary tools, and industry best practices, and leveraging contextual data\nUnderstand and utilize the various tools and resources necessary to perform regular program tasks.\nMake quick, accurate analytical decisions based on information that is, at times, ambiguous\nSummarize analysis findings in clear, concise written reporting\nSubmit reports, adhering to your program’s reporting standards, within strict deadlines\nEscalate questions to appropriate colleagues using sound judgment\nAssist with other projects and tasks when assigned to do so by the Manager\nAssist in the maintenance of program documentation as directed by Senior Analysts and the Manager\nExhibit a growth mindset by being open to feedback, embracing change as an opportunity\nConduct online background investigations of applicants, review their website content for problematic products and policies, and conduct compliance reviews to determine applicants’ eligibility for LegitScript certification\nRegularly communicate with client(s), in coordination with Manager, via email, phone, or video conference as needed\nMonitor billing and payment status, escalating internally when appropriate\nWhat You'll Bring: Ability to work in a dynamic market with a continuous improvement mindset\nComfortable accepting feedback for overall growth\nExcellent time management and prioritization skills\nAbility to use good judgment and make sound independent decisions\nExperience with large data sets (Excel and Google Sheets)\nFantastic attention to detail\nProblem-solving skills, as well as the ability to use good judgment and make sound independent decisions\nSelf-motivated, independent, resourceful, and curious\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills\nTech-savvy\nWell-developed ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English\nIn addition to competitive salaries, full-time employees enjoy a great benefits package: 401k with company match and immediate vesting\nGenerous paid time off package and 11 paid holidays\nAnd much more!\nWe succeed together, care deeply, stay curious, and inspire trust — and we look for those qualities in the people we hire.
