Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and define visualization requirements, including KPIs, metrics, and storytelling approaches. Collaborate with business our data analytics team and IT to ensure data sources, view tables, and models are accurate, performant, and aligned with business definitions. Gather, document, and validate detailed business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and System Requirement Specifications (SRS). Develop and maintain system interfaces and business process specifications related to analytics and reporting solutions. Ensure dashboards follow best practices in visual design, usability, and accessibility, including consistency, clarity, and effective use of color, layout, and interaction. Experience in building and publishing interactive dashboards on Tableau Server. Knowledge of scheduling dashboards for automatic data refresh. Proficiency in data blending. Ability to create action filters, parameters, and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau. Experience in testing, cleaning, and standardizing data to meet business standards. SAS Visual Analytics2-5 years of demonstrated experience in visual analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization roles. Strong expertise in visual analytics and data storytelling, with the ability to present insights in a clear, concise, and business focused manner. Strong visual design sensibility and familiarity with data visualization best practices (e.g., chart selection, layout, hierarchy, and storytelling). Proven ability to work directly with business users to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and create user stories that translate business needs into analytics solutions. Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar sprint and backlog management tools. Advanced expertise in Tableau Desktop, including:Dashboard and worksheet creationCalculated fields, parameters, and action filtersData source management and troubleshootingPerformance optimizationAdvanced expertise in Power BI, including:Interactive dashboard and report developmentData modeling and DAX (as applicable)Report troubleshooting and optimizationPreferred Qualifications:Well organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
