Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a growing, publicly traded organization seeking a highly motivated accounting leader to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving processes, mentoring teams, and partnering cross-functionally across the business.This role will lead the month-end close process, support SEC and audit reporting activities, and play a key role in maintaining strong internal controls and financial accuracy.What You’ll DoLead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activitiesReview journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedulesSupervise and mentor accounting staff while supporting onboarding and developmentPartner with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual auditsSupport SEC reporting activities and SOX compliance initiativesIdentify and implement process improvements across accounting operationsAnalyze general ledger activity and prepare financial reporting support schedulesCollaborate cross-functionally with teams including Legal, IT, Procurement, and OperationsParticipate in special projects and strategic accounting initiativesWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of progressive accounting experiencePrior experience with SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and external auditsStrong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and financial analysisProven leadership experience managing or mentoring accounting teamsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPsExperience with Oracle NetSuite strongly preferredCPA designation preferredStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentIdeal Candidate TraitsSelf-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving skillsCollaborative mindset with the ability to work across departmentsDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvementStrategic thinker who enjoys optimizing processes and driving efficiencyPositive attitude and strong sense of accountabilityPerks & BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coveragePaid vacation
