The candidate must troubleshoot and isolate network faults and failures in a LAN/WAN environment and provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selections, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. This candidate will maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and software interconnections and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and evaluate and report on new communication technologies to enhance the capabilities of the network.\r\nCandidates must be Security+ certified and have an adjudicated full-scope polygraph at time of employment. Candidates must be able to work within a group or independently where collaboration and attention to detail is critical to mission success.\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\nLevel 2: Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 0 years.\r\nLevel 3: Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years.\r\nActive TS/SCI with an adjudicated full-scope polygraph at time of application.\r\nCandidates are required to be Security+ certified.\r\nCandidates must travel a minimum of 30% of the time.\r\nThe candidate will maintain technical expertise in network and software interconnections and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and COMSEC equipment knowledge.\r\nKnowledge of CISCO routers and switches, hardware and software.\r\nExperience designing additions to a large network.\r\nKnowledge of Linux and Windows.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nFirewall hardware and software knowledge, administration, management, and modifications.\r\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 – $125,200.00. Secondary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 – $155,400.00. The above salary range is a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers such as scope and responsibilities, candidate's experience, education, skills, and market conditions.\r\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
