In this role, you will be responsible for executing Pipefitting tasks on various piping systems, ensuring all work aligns with industry and company standards and project specifications. Your role will contribute to the successful completion of complex piping projects emphasizing safety, quality, and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company and support professionals with decades of experience completing advanced mechanical installations in a fast-paced environment. *We will be conducting a skills evaluation prior to any employment offer expressed or written.*\n\nPipefitter Journeyman pay range $38 - $48 per hour to start.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine pipe layout and installation procedures.\n* Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install piping using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols.\n* Install and retrofit copper and steel piping systems in a commercial environment, including chilled water, heating water, steam, gas and condenser water piping.\n* Fabricate pipe sections through bending, soldering, brazing, pressing or other methods to meet project specifications.\n* Work with screw pipe systems, including measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling components.\n* Groove carbon steel, copper, and stainless-steel pipe.\n* Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, construction plans, and quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.\n* Use tools and equipment to push, pull, lift, and carry materials\n\n*Requirements *\n\n* Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a commercial / HVAC pipefitter.\n* Hands-on experience working with chilled water piping, steam piping, gas piping, condenser water piping, heating water piping, and domestic water piping.\n* Ability to calculate and apply fitting takeoffs for screw, copper and weld fittings.\n* Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, equipment, and materials in compliance with safety procedures.\n* Capability to lift and carry 75 pounds or more on a regular basis.\n* Ability to climb ladders and operate lifts to perform work\n* Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods while completing installation and retrofit tasks\n* Maintain regular attendance and be available for overtime and weekend work as required by project demands.\n* Ability to work in heat and various other weather conditions as required by the project\n* Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion while upholding safety standards.\n* Valid driver’s license & clean driving record\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n* Proven experience in pipefitting with knowledge of pipe installation techniques and familiarity with fittings and components.\n* Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and interpreting technical drawings accurately.\n* Mechanical knowledge of piping systems, fixtures, valves, fittings, and related components.\n* Ability to operate hand tools such as pipe threading machines, groover, tube benders, and power tools safely.\n* Strong understanding of safety regulations.\n* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication and installation tasks.\n* Experience working on construction sites with rigging skills and familiarity with ASME codes & standards.\n\n*Benefits*\n\nWe are happy to offer a benefits package that includes \\*Employer paid health insurance, Vision, and Dental. 200 hours of total paid time off effective upon hiring, company provided vehicle and purchase card.\n\nHealth benefits\n\n\\* Employer will pay 70% of health insurance plan cost for Medical, Vision, and Dental\n\nPaid time off benefits\n\n* (2) weeks (80 hours) paid time off (PTO)\n* (1) week (40 hours) sick time\n* (10) paid holidays (80 Hours)\n\nJoin us as a Pipefitter if you are seeking an excellent opportunity with a fast paced and growing company!\n\nPay: $38.00 -
