Job Overview
StonePeake’s Business Solutions Group is recruiting for a part-time Organizational Design Analyst. Please note:
This position is contingent upon the award of a contract. Employment is dependent on the successful securing of the contract.
Compensation Varies depending on Candidate Qualifications.
This is a contract/1099 position that is expected to last for 6-9 months.
Worksite is in Exmore, VA. Some telework (up to 2 days per week) may be permitted.
Typical schedule is 9:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive organizational design strategies aligned with business objectives by conducting a formal analysis of a small cross-functional team (20-persons) and organizational structure, while identifying inefficiencies, overlaps, and critical talent gaps.
Develop defined roles, responsibilities, and clear Decision Rights (e.g., a RACI or similar matrix) for leadership and critical cross-functional teams.
Create a plan outlining the sequence of hiring, employee evaluation process(es), and the required skill sets for key positions needed to increase staffing by 50%.
Conduct detailed mapping of current-state (As-Is) and recommended future-state (To-Be) workflows for core functions, which include: Finance/Accounting, Procurement, Human Resources/Hiring, IT Governance, Network Operations Management, and Customer Service/Billing.
Conduct a high-level review of existing technologies and recommendations on how to leverage technology to streamline the new To-Be processes.
Utilize strong communication skills to present findings, influence stakeholders, and promote continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Create a digital, accessible SOP Manual containing documented, repeatable procedures for all mapped processes, ensuring compliance with governmental standards, including those necessary for accountability and training readiness.
Evaluate current internal controls, compliance requirements unique to a body politic and corporate office in Virginia, and recommendations for enhanced accountability procedures, with specific attention to federal grant compliance and audit readiness.
Facilitate change management processes by communicating effectively through public speaking, presentations, training materials, and mentoring to ensure smooth transitions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience assessing organizations of under 50 staff members that were in a high-growth phase.
Experience consulting for public sector, quasi-governmental, or highly regulated mission-driven organizations (e.g., non-profits, independent authorities, etc.) where governance and public accountability were core engagement requirements.
Direct experience utilizing various methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Agile Design, etc.) that support organizational design and business process improvement.
Experience working with governmental or corporate entities within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Demonstrated ability in developing SOPs and training materials.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling presentations
Background in organization design, talent management, and change management processes.
