The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and administration of assigned projects, ensuring delivery in accordance with client expectations, budgets, schedules, and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, client management, and multi-disciplinary team coordination capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOverall management and administration of projects, including establishing project-specific objectives and policies.\nLead and provide guidance to subordinate managers and technical staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and project policies.\nServe as the primary liaison between AECOM and client stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.\nOversee all facets of projects from budgeting and scheduling through procurement, contract management, and closeout.\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and quality to achieve successful delivery.\nProactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of technical, contractual, and commercial issues.\nCoordinate multi-disciplinary teams, promoting collaboration among engineering, design, environmental, and construction disciplines.\nConduct regular project status meetings and prepare comprehensive reports for clients and internal leadership.\nDrive business development by identifying new opportunities, participating in proposal development, and fostering client relationships.\nMentor, develop, and manage project management staff to cultivate a high-performing, skilled team.\nEnsure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations and AECOM’s internal quality assurance and safety standards.\nManage financial aspects of projects including forecasting, invoicing, profit and loss responsibility, and budget controls.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field; advanced degree preferred.\nMinimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in project management within the infrastructure, construction engineering, or related sectors.\nProven track record managing medium to large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects successfully.\nStrong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising multi-disciplinary project teams.\nExcellent client-facing abilities with demonstrated experience in relationship building and stakeholder management.\nIn-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, contracts, procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance processes.\nAbility to manage multi-tasking projects independently while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.\nFamiliarity with local state, and federal regulations related to infrastructure and construction projects.\nExperience in negotiating contracts, managing risk, and resolving project claims and disputes.\nProficient in project management software, MS Office Suite, and relevant engineering/design tools.\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with government and public-sector clients.\nFamiliarity with alternative delivery methods such as design-build or progressive design-build.\nKnowledge of sustainability practices and innovation within project delivery.\nCertifications such as PMP, PE, or equivalent are advantageous.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nWhy Join Us?\nOpportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projects that shape and enhance communities in the mining industry.\nCollaborative and inclusive work culture fostering professional growth and innovation.\nFlexible hybrid work options to support work-life balance.\nAccess to AECOM’s global network, technical resources, training programs, and career development support.\nCompetitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits tailored to personal and professional needs.\nHow to Apply:\nInterested candidates are invited to submit their resume and cover letter detailing their experience and alignment with the role’s requirements.
