The job will require requisition of repair and maintenance parts, scheduling and implementing maintenance work and repairs. The Maintenance Mechanic must be knowledgeable in operation, maintenance, and repair of CNC and general production machinery.Essential Functions:CNC Machine Maintenance and repairPerforms routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper performanceSchedules machine cleaning and preventative maintenanceUpdates production schedule with maintenance performedCoordinates with outside repair vendorsMaintains and inventories repair partsEnsures proper oil levels in machinesRepairs and corrects machine leaksTroubleshoot production machines and facility equipment problemsPromote and maintain a safe working environmentSuggest process improvements and equipment purchasesMust be able to perform the job with minimal supervisionPerform other assignments as requiredComply with and promote Company Quality and Safety Policies and Strategic Business ObjectivesRequirementsQualifications:Experience/Education/SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent, minimum 7 years of experience maintaining and repairing production machines and facility equipmentKnowledge of maintenance and repair of CNC turning centers with Fanuc ControllersAble to read and interpret engineering drawingsMust have a complete knowledge of metrology equipment and their uses including micrometers, calipers, indicators, depth micrometers, gauge pins, thread gauges and optical comparatorsUnderstanding of mechanical systems and electrical circuitsBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office applicationsLanguage Skills:Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)Mathematical Skills:Intermediate Math Skills (measuring, use of calculator)Reasoning Ability:Ability to carry out detailed, involved written and verbal instructionsPhysical Demands:Must frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 poundsWhen performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands to finger or handle or feel objects and tools or controls and talk or hearEmployee is frequently required to reach with hands and armsSpecific vision abilities require close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focusMust be able to handle several tasks at the same time under time constraintsWork Environment:Machine Maintenance Mechanic will work throughout the Company and will be exposed to high pressure gas, heated and moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to vibrationNoise level is moderate for a manufacturing plantReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401k, Life and AD&D Insurance
