Firefly Tutors is hiring a SPECIAL EDUCATION MATH AND ELA TUTOR for middle school student (25/26 School year) IN-HOME / IN-PERSON, Experienced Tutors ONLY Seeking SPED math and ELA tutor in Anaheim, CA 92801 and surrounding areas (IN HOME ONLY)! MUST BE AVAILABLE to tutor some EARLY MORNINGS throughout the week, start immediately, and continue tutoring through the 25/26 school year Ideal tutor candidate must have/be: Bachelor's degree or above FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor Versed in K - 8 curriculum instruction in math and English Language Arts Experience working with students with special needs (dyslexia, auditory processing disorder) 1-2 years of experience working with students Responsibilities Provide individual tutoring in math and English to enhance student understanding and performance Identify how students learn best Implement creative, engaging lessons tailored to students' needs Utilize learning technology to facilitate effective teaching and learning experiences Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS and SKILLS INCREASE TUTOR EARNING POTENTIAL Pay is $35 per hour 1-10 hours per week, Part-time only In-home tutoring only If qualified, please submit your resume and brief cover letter stating WHY you want to tutor as soon as possible.
