{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d8da6a95c8edb0335a3a5d15","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d8da6a95c8edb0335a3a5d15","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d8da6a95c8edb0335a3a5d15","title":"Cloud DevSecOps Architect","description":"Overview:\n\nThe Cloud DevSecOps Architect provides architecture strategies supporting resiliency, scalability, modular design patterns, and capability re-use for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OIT), Product Delivery Services (PDS), Benefits and Memorials (BAM), Memorial and Benefit Services (MBS) deliver secure, reliable, and effective Information Technology (IT) solutions that support the Department’s mission.\n\nResponsibilities:\nRecommend architectural changes and technology improvements to enhance security (zero trust), performance, resiliency, and operational efficiency.\nIntegrate data analytics, AI/ML, and BI requirements into architecture and solution designs.\nProduce Solution Architecture Packages enabling government decision‑making for future target architectures\nDesign and govern CI/CD architecture including automated builds, testing (functional, performance, security), deployments, and rollback strategies.\nEnsure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) alignment with VA cloud compliance standards.\nImplement observability (“Monitoring as Code”) across infrastructure, OS, application, and integrations.\nBuild and maintain DevSecOps pipelines supporting multiple technology stacks (.Net Core, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, etc.).\nDefine and deliver monitoring plans, dashboards, DevSecOps maturity metrics, and automated testing reports.\nEnsure automated security testing, static/dynamic scanning, and compliance checks are integrated into CI/CD.\nQualifications:\n\nRequired:\n\nBachelor’s Degree in computer science or an IT-related degree with 7-10 years' experience\nExtensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, Docker, Kubernetes, Sonar, Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure DevOps).\nExpertise in cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and VA Enterprise Cloud operational requirements.\nStrong knowledge of security standards (NIST, RMF), ATO processes, zero trust, and vulnerability remediation\nFamiliarity with multiple development stacks: .Net Core, Java, JavaScript frameworks, SQL, Python, Bash, Groovy.\nExperience leading cross-functional DevSecOps, Agile, and System Teams.\nPublic Trust\n\nPreferred:\n\nExperience with AWS VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC)\nExperience with Azure DevOps\n\nSalary Range: $175,000-$200,000\n\nThis role is in the proposal stage. The above salary range represents a general guideline.
