This role works closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure network infrastructure is delivered on schedule, meets quality standards, and supports business operations.\n\nCompetencies\n\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following:\n\nProject Planning & Execution\n\nPlan and coordinate structured cabling installation for office buildings, manufacturing facilities, and data centers.\nDevelop project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and deployment plans.\nTrack project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time.\n\nCabling Infrastructure\n\nDesign and manage copper and fiber optic cabling systems.\nReview cable routing, cable tray layouts, conduits, and pathways.\nEnsure compliance with TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, and company standards.\nValidate cable labeling, documentation, and as-built drawings.\n\nQuality Assurance\n\nVerify cable testing results (Fluke certification, OTDR, insertion loss, etc.).\nConduct site inspections and acceptance testing.\nEnsure proper documentation before project handover.\nTrack punch list items until closure.\n\nDocumentation\n\nMaintain cable databases and asset inventories.\nReview and update AutoCAD drawings.\nPrepare weekly project status reports.\nForecast resource requirements and installation schedules.\n\nCross-functional Coordination and Vendor Management\n\nManage structured cabling contractors and installation vendors.\nReview vendor proposals, quotations, and statements of work.\nCoordinate with construction, MEP, facility, ISEP and equipment teams to align installation activities.\nMonitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project requirements.\nResolve installation issues and remove project roadblocks.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.\nExperience managing installation vendors.\nKnowledge and Familiarity of:\nCat6/Cat6A, SM/MM Fiber, MPO/MTP, LC/SC connectors, patch panels, cable management systems, TIA-568, BICSI, ANSI/TIA standards and NEC requirements\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nFlexible to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n2+ years of experience in structured cabling, network infrastructure, or data center deployment.\nBICSI RCDD certification\nPMP certification\nExperience in semiconductor fabs or mission-critical facilities\nExperience supporting large-scale construction projects\nAutoCAD or Bluebeam experience\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nThis role requires the ability to work across office, clean-room, and data center environments, performing tasks that range from standard office duties to specialized operations in controlled spaces, including the ability to occasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, and carry light objects.\nOccasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds.\nAbility to use a computer, keyboard, mouse and other standard office equipment for prolonged periods of time.\nAbility to complete any travel requirements, if applicable\nAble to wear clean-room suit while standing and/or walking in the FAB as needed.\n\nShift Expectation\n\nTSMC Arizona operates 24/7, 365 days a year. This position requires candidates to have the ability and willingness to work from Monday through Friday 9am-6pm, and work on-call as scheduled in connection with business needs.
