This location specializes in Spine, Orthopedic, and Pain management procedures.\nIn this position, you will:\nConduct thorough preoperative assessments to gather patient history, identify potential risks, and ensure proper preparation for surgery.\nServe as the patient advocate throughout the surgical experience, ensuring effective communication and addressing patient concerns.\nCollaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement a comprehensive plan for each procedure, ensuring proper equipment, supplies, and instrumentation are available.\nScrub and circulate during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile field and providing continuous patient monitoring.\nAdminister medications and assist the anesthesia team as needed.\nAnticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team to facilitate a smooth and efficient operation.\nAccurately document all aspects of the surgical process, including patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.\nAdhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment.\nMonitor patients during the immediate postoperative period, providing post-anesthesia care and managing any complications that may arise.\nCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists, to ensure seamless patient care.\nCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.\nParticipate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient outcomes and safety protocols.\nTo ensure success in this role, you must have:\nActive CA RN License\nCurrent BLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire\n2-3 years of OR experience in acute care or surgery center\nTo stand out as an applicant, we would prefer:\nCNOR certification\nKnowledge in Pain, ENT, Spine, Podiatry and Orthopedic procedures\nPre-Op and Post Op experience\nPALS certification\nPay Range: $55.00 - $65.00/hour\nWhy Should You Work Here:\nNationally Recognized Surgeons: Join a team of surgeons with national recognition in the fields of spine and sports medicine.\nLeader in Spine and Sports Medicine: Be part of an organization that leads the way in advancements in spine and sports medicine.\nOpportunity for Growth: Experience professional growth in a dynamic and growing healthcare environment.\nWork-Life Balance: No weekends, no holidays, and the same team every day.\nDISC Surgery Center is an equal opportunity employer.
